REDRUM! REDRUM! So cute!
This has been floating around the Internets for a couple of weeks now, but it’s too good not to share here, if just for archival purposes.
Basically, someone took scenes from Stanley Kubrick’s THE SHINING – generally considered one of the greatest horror films of all time – and recut it into a trailer for a feel-good family dramedy. And it’s just about the most brilliant piece of satire I’ve seen all year, with the music cue choice of Peter Gabriel sticking out as a particular stroke o’ genius. If only they could’ve worked in the blowjob-by-bear.
