BUMMER. I just read that Jack was a heavy smoker and drinker. The two together proved to be lethal. He was cute, and I grew up with him BOTH in the movie Oliver and PufnStuf.

Funny, but about ten years later (80's for those keeping track) I started watching General Hospital during the Ice Princess saga and was intrigued by the characters of Robert Scorpio and fellow WSB agent and mentor, O'Reilly. (a woman in about her fifties to Robert's 30's) they were co-workers and good friends. It was after O'Reilly died that I found out that the talented actress was Billie Hayes( See also:WITCHIEPOO. )

Another twenty years, and the death of actor Walker Edmiston (Adventures in Odyssey) prompted me to search on line for info about him, and, wouldn't you know it, HE played two characters (Dr. Blinkey and Orson, one of Witchiepoo's co-horts).

Guess it's true what they say; "All roads lead to Living Island".

> I would much rather spend that cash to construct a shanty-town of sorts, on the outskirts of town, surrounded by barbed wire and armed guards, allowing the homeless to form their own community, possibly with their own libraries.

But what if we lost the inevitable bum/human war and the bums began to use us to power their bum technology by enslaving our mind within a bum matrix?
